#ButterflyEffect for Twitter

The #ButterflyEffect for Twitter app finds hashtags, twitter user handles and links from search results and analyzes them to help you discover more. The goal is to allow everyone, including those without a Twitter account, to access the vast amount of real-time information contained within tweets. Use this Android app for Twitter on your phone or tablet to surf Twitter for conversations about events, movies, TV, politics, fashion, culture, music, sports, and everything else that interests you.

#butterflyEffect for Twitter features:

- Discover the active and engaged users based on the number of times they are mentioned or found within search results. Use this information to discover trendsetters, influencers and connectors based on their interactions and conversations.
- Easily distinguish betweet active or dead conversations and chats based on the duration of the most recent search results.
- Translate tweets in a foreign language to your preferred language using the translation feature.
- Find ongoing or upcoming twitter chats and discover the participants by searching for the related hashtag. Connect with users tweeting from live events or about your favorite TV shows or movies.
- Identify emerging trends or related twitter hashtags from trending topics or your search keywords.
- Easily identify users you have interacted with by searching for your twitter username. This feature is especially useful on follow Friday.
- Quickly identify trending hashtags using the color codes which indicates how often the hashtag has been used by users.
- Discover original content, the freshest tweets and avoid spam by excluding "ReTweets" and/or links from the search criteria.
- Find followers with similar interests, hobbies, opinions and views about any subject that interests you.
- Include or exclude hashtags to better filter your search criteria and avoid spam.
- See the relations, created by users, between hashtags and potentially catch trends earlier than your friends.
- Quickly see the number of links shared by each user and view any popular links.
- Filter the users found by name, number of keywords or mentions.
- No twitter account required.
- Use the Twitter mobile website or any of the compatible client apps to interact with users or tweets. e.g. Official Twitter app for Android, Plume, Seesmic, Twicca, TweetCaster etc.

Recent changes:
+ Added available trend locations to the trending screen to allow you to see trending topics from around the world.
+ The links section displays the actual URL instead of the t.co URL.
+ Improved some screens to be more tablet friendly but we still have some work to do in this area. Consider this the alpha version for tablets.
