Bagh-Chal (Translation:"Tiger's Move") is a strategic two-player board game that originates from Nepal. This app is the modern rendition of the centuries-old traditional board game.
The game is played by two people: player one controls the goats and player two controls the tigers.
The rules for the game are as follows:
The player controlling the goats moves first by placing a goat onto a free intersection on the board. Then one tiger is moved to an adjacent position along the lines that indicate the valid moves. Moves alternate between players.
Tigers capture goats by jumping over them to an adjacent free position (as in checkers, although capturing is not obligatory in Bagh-Chal). Goats can not move until all 20 have been put on the board. Once all 20 Goats are on the board, the player may move them to any adjacent positions as indicated by the lines. Goats cannot jump Tigers!
-Tigers win by eating 5 goats
-Goats win by trapping tigers until they cannot move
This app only features 2-Player mode in which you and a friend can go head to head in a Bagh-Chal match
Look out for new updates coming soon, including: Single Player with the Android and Bluetooth Multiplayer with Friends!
