bring back the retro gaming days by turning your android into a 8-bit camera! create photos that is extremely compatible with 640x480 resolution and 8-bit color monitors. you can create the desired pixelated effect by adjusting the slider and changing the pixel block size.

this is our beta version so feedback is welcome. look forward to more enhanced features in future updates!

thank you for the feedback thus far! they are important to us as we cannot exhaustively perform tests on all android devices. we are also aware the app is memory intensive, so we are also working to optimize that area before more advanced features and interface will be implemented.

version 1.1 updates:
- fixed a bug that caused streaks and crashes in htc phones.

works best with well lit and well contrasted images. I love it but its almost 9MB installed vs. the less 2 and some odd it claims in the market.

I think this is about as close enough as you can get. :) Its more or less pixels instead of bits(like old school video games), you know, like old web browsing images and stuff like that. But that doesn't mean you still can't have fun with it! :) If anyone really knows what I'm talking about, then you'll understand where I'm coming from.

Cant import photos from my galery... even saving photo is imposible. Please fix this problem.
