Nothing special. Original HTC phone application is enough.

This app has great potential, but there are a few issues: 1. App crashes when you attempt to edit a contact. 2. Clicking on a contacts address loads Maps as it should, but it says "Unable to load the URL." 3. Some info in contacts does not show (like the "Website" field as it does in stock contacts app or in Dialer One. Besides these issues, if you could just add group functionality to Dialer One, it would be the best app ever! :-) Using Nexus S.

This used to be my "GO-TO" app, reliable, best replacement picture-dialer and contact manager, appealing to people who want & need visual displays of info for rapid finding & sorting. ... BIG PROBLEMS HAVE EMERGED past 6 months. As someone else mentioned, default FAVORITES GROUP that is supposed to load upon startup as either a picture-grid or list (your choice) does not "stick". Options are great (or used to be), with great granular control allowing you to specfify not only which DEFAULT GROUP of contacts should display, but also what should be the STARTUP STATE of the app -- ie, should it start on CONTACTS page, or on the Dialer, on the Groups Listing, etc. .... But the core feature that matters more than any, the one that is essential or this app does not meet its primary reason for being, is PHOTO CONTACTS GROUPED BY the groups within your Google Contacts groups... And the ability to select any one of those groups and make it the DEFAULT that displays at startup, and as your "favorites". ... No longer working. You will see the group you select having contacts populated correctly within the native Android or HTC dialer/contacts app... but when you look at this same list of groups on aContacts, it shows (0) people in the group, thus, there are no contacts on your screen. .... The only way I have been able to get this app to disp;ay a favorites grid of contacts these days is by selecting the app's "STAR" for favorites on each contact's detail screen -- which places it into the Android "favorites" category, technically. Which you then have to select as your default contact group. Which is fine, but not desired. It's manually a pain to go in and tap and untap individual contacts when you want to ungroup them, etc... but worse, these settings do not hold. ... I have been using this app for a year, first on HTC Hero (never had a problem over a year ago), then later on HTC Desire, with 2 android updates. Prior to that 6 years of touchscreen usage on Windows Mobile so really highly doubtful this is user error... I contacted the dev by email and so far no reply, but it has been under 24 hours. ... I would hate to have to leave this app because I know of none better, but it is now what I consider UNRELIABLE, and as such, I would have to downgrade my usability preferences in order to get the far more essential RELIABILITY -- when i need to call someone the contact is THERE, not missing.

Too ugly Sadly this app seems to do the job, and the grid/list switch is interesting, but the overall messiness of the design and the cheap look of the buttons were enough to convince me to uninstall. So sad!
