Experience the thrill of discovery in the Adirondack Park of Northern New York. A six-million acre civilized wilderness, dotted with quaint towns and charming lakeside villages, the Adirondack Park is open year-round for adventure. Explore nature, tour historic sites and play at our many attractions. The official app of the Adirondack Park will help guide you throughout your journey. You’ll find information on recreation, like hiking trails, trail heads, camping, fishing, swimming, winter sports, and much more. Find lodging, dining, and attractions nearby to make the best trip for you and your friends and family.
Whether you are planning your trip or you are in the Park and use the app as a convenient resource, you’ll find lots of great information, along with maps and directions to help with your travels.
This has been created in partnership between cross-regional organizations - The Adirondack Association of Towns and Villages (AATV), Center for Economic Growth, and Central Adirondack Partnership for the 21st Century - and funding for the project is being provided by a Regional Economic Development Council "Market NY" grant from Empire State Development, the State’s chief economic development agency, as well as from the Center for Economic Growth.
A major update to the Discover Adirondack Park app is the Adirondack Road Trip feature! Select towns to visit in the Park and add recreation stops along the way to your trip to keep the good times rolling.
Users can create, save, and edit their road trips in-app, as well as share their road trip on social media channels, like Facebook and Twitter.
Other enhancements include advance sorting of listings and capability for the user to like and comment on recreation listings.
