Cardinal Quest

Guide a fighter, a wizard, or a thief deep into a hostile dungeon to wrest the town of Hallemot from the clutches of the tyrannical minotaur Asterion, in this streamlined roguelike. Engaging, thought-provoking gameplay that's different every time, but fast enough to take in bite-sized chunks.

Tap or hold to move; move into enemies to engage them in melee, or tap spells to cast them. Tap your character's portrait to view your current stats, and even though character death is permanent, it's also half the fun!

Recent changes:
- Fixed controls on tablets
- Setting changes now saves (e.g. music/sounds)
- Various UI fixes
- Fixed rare save-game crashing bug
- Some text improvements

Not exactly what I expected for that price The price is rather steep, imho. Althought the game is well made (haven't experienced any bugs yet -Xperia Play) there are some strange UN-rogue-like elements implemented. Why does my character NOT replenish health by walking, for starters? I have yet to see another game that has this feature and claims to be a rogue-like. Also, difficulty spikes. I usually end on the forth floor, if that. Suddenly there appear super-strong enemies of wich 3-4 jump at me at once and... boom. Dead again. Also, my character keeps finding always the same items in dungeons, depending on which class I've chosen. So not much variety here. Otherwise a good game with a retro feel, but the difficulty is unforgiving and should be updated more often.

Decent..but that's about it. Needs more work. Add more items, a better more smoother functioning form of gameplay. Don't make it feel so robotic or glitchy. Add more weapons, more room types, add npcs to sell to, and just pile on ideas. It has potential.. not truly worth the price listed.

Amazing game. Talented developer I am new to the indie game development scene and decided to read an article by this games dev. It really spoke to me so I decided to buy his game. Love it so far. Thank you for an awesome game

Unfinished Don't buy this unfinished game. The coins have no purpose. I get the feeling dev didn't really care and just wanted to make money.
