B. Essential. Most reliable multi-alarm.

One of the 1st apps I installed when I got my Evo 4G in June 2010, I consider it essential. I've used it to keep time reminders as well as an alarm clock w/ my fave songs. If there was a paid version, I'd gladly pay for it. Recently installed a custom ROM on my phone which is great except for the fact you need to re-dl all your fave programs, I almost went crazy until I found this app again. Thank you Appbrain!

Memory is precious on my "old" phone (1yr!), so I need a simple alarm app to replace "Alarm Clock Plus", which is a bloated 2.8MB. Alarm Klock is just 340KB installed. It's not pretty, but it seems to do just about all the basics that you need in an alarm app, without unnecessary frills. I especially like the slide-to-cancel function - this requires a deliberate action, so you don't accidentally cancel instead of snoozing the alarm when you're not awake! There are a couple of flaws. As well as alarm- and ring- tones, the alarm tone picker incorrectly displays sounds that can't be used, like the HTC volume button sounds, and picks up links to radio stations from the "TuneIn Radio" app. So the pick list is rather cluttered. Why not pop up the Android "which program?" menu box, like other apps that play sounds? Also the lock screen notification does something strange and squashes the unlock pattern - very odd. Dev - fix these and it'll be a 5-star app. (HTC Legend, 2.2)

Useless with Xperia Z2 Used to be my favorite. But useless on Z2 (5.0). It makes alarm only after user wakes the phone. Somehow just does not make the alarm it is supposed to.

Perfect and simple Does what it is supposed to do without needing permissions. Professional ap developers should use this to learn how to write unbloated, non-intrusive aps.

On Nexus 5 I've been using this as my main alarm for 5 years now on various phones and never had an issue with it. There was a warning about malware last time I downloaded but I've checked the forums and the code and there is no issue. This app works great and has never let me down. Craig if you're ever my way I owe you a beer. FYI. To optimise any new software always a good idea to reboot.

Good app - but please fix bugs Love the fade-in volume. BUG: if u edit alarm time by typing #s instead of +/- 5 or 1 buttons, then changes are NOT retained after 'OK' & 'OK'. Also, REQUEST: Option for larger Label text, as it appears on ringing alarm screen. When u have several alarms, showing *which* one is ringing cud be clearer. ALSO: Re 'Snooze' prob reported by others: alarm fails randomly (plays sys. default or nothing) if I use media on Ext.SD, so I only use *internal* SD now. Test this pls? Maybe system lag when in lo pwr mode?
