Very simple and effective My only complaints are the cramped vertical mode UI design and the fact that you have to input commands rather than tap on icons to do things like add channels and such.

Pretty good I'd actually like to give 4.5 stars, just a few things would bring it to 5. Such as make the interface more customizable (i.e. more fonts, custom colors for nicks & text, ability to add a background image), add sound notification for channel messages & joins, add a buddy list, have the nicklist show userids & hostmasks rather than just nicks. Those are more superficial than performance issues though, the only real performance problem I've run into is the app going offline on its own: I'll have it running in the background while doing other things on the tablet or set the tablet down for awhile, then check to see if I got any messages only to find all the servers went offline for no apparent reason (not due to intermittent wifi issues). Which then clears any previous text that was up prior to the dropped connection, so if I want to go back and re-read or catch up with new messages that came in, I have to dig for the log files to find them. It doesn't kick my servers offline often but when it does it's pretty annoying. Other than that though it's an overall decent & functional app, simple & user friendly enough that I'd recommend to beginners.
