APE Optics Calculator


The A·P·E Calculator helps to easily evaluate often needed (non)linear equations. This includes Sum Frequency Generation (SFG), Difference Frequency Generation (DFG), the wavelength relations in an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) as well as in coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) spectroscopy.

The conversion between wavelength, wavenumber, and frequency as well as different characterizations of pulses can be calculated.

Feedback as well as feature requests are appreciated.

Very nice. Could use a couple more units in the wavelength conversion section such as energy (eV) and angular frequency, but very useful.

Handy tool It is very useful tool during experiments because you don't have to reach for your calculator or computer.

Does work (fixed) Was confused by input method, checkboxes must be on outputs. Works OK.
