Lots of people make "bucket lists" of things to do before they die. This is different.
You may or may not die in the “Mayan Apocalypse” on December 21st, and it's possible that the choices you make now will determine that. If the world really is ending, there's no need to make a name for yourself and get into the history books. There's no legacy to build.
Your "bucket list" should reflect the things that will help prepare you for the apocalypse, or at least let you feel you have accomplished the most important things in your life. It shouldn't however, leave you in a bad place on December 22nd... you know, just in case the world doesn't really end.
Since there is a lot of speculation but no real knowledge about how the world could end, it might be good to prepare for a variety of disasters – earthquakes, hurricanes, or even the zombie apocalypse. Get Apocalypse Survival Prep for some quick advice to get you ready.
This app is part preparation guide, part background coverage on the Mayan history and predictions, and entirely easy to use. All the information you need, right at your fingertips!
And of course, we may sail right past the winter solstice on December 21st and enter the “Age of Aquarius”. You'll then be ready for other disasters if you take some precautions and practice some skills now.
Oh, and while it should be obvious, this app is not professional advice from a crazy recluse in the mountains – if you want to go to an extreme level of training, you'll need to read a lot of books, get a hunting knife, and disappear into the wilderness for some hands-on training. For everyone else, enjoy!
And maybe, just maybe, you'll be prepared to last as long as possible if December 21st 2012 really does become the Mayan Apocalypse.
