ARgo - Metro Athens

ARgo - Metro Athens

Augmented Reality app for the Athens Subway and TRAM.

Watch virtual markers over the physicall position of every subway station, with its distance from you.

The app makes use of the device's GPS for the user's position and for the exact representation of the data and distances between the stations and the user.
In case someone wants to try it indoors without enabling GPS, he or she can use the cellular network (3G/HSDPA) to view the stations' relative position.FYI, the use of network location service obviously won't be as exact as the GPS, so expect a slight declination.

The user can also access Google Maps through the Main Menu in order to view it's current location and the location of every subway station in Athens. Every station is marked with noticeably icons to enhance user's orientation.
