Visit http://hiz.ch/index.php/home/adsb-receiver for more details!

Use this app to show live air traffic in Avare! All data received will be made available automatically, once Avare has been detected - no configuration required. Download Avare here:
http://hiz.ch/fwd/ps.Avare.html

This test version is fully functional but comes with a package limit. Please consider buying the "Pro" version to support the development of this app. Thanks!!

Pro version:

USAGE

Attach a supported USB dongle to your Android device using an OnTheGo (OTG) cable. (Make sure your device supports OTG!) This app will automatically start once a device has been detected. Answer `yes` if you are asked to auto-open the app, it will immediately try to receive ADSB data. You should see packages flowing in quickly, depending on your location.

Works... not quite! (follow up) INITIAL POST: There was this BIG problem with being unable to use any of the functions - Map, Data, Options, Help, except for Restart and Exit on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4". UPDATE: Unchecking " Do not keep activities" under "Developer options" solved the problem. The app now works beautifully. The developer is very responsive to all requests for help (check the reviews); he even offered a free copy of the Pro version! Outstanding customer service, wish there were more developers like him. (FYI, I turned the offer down - IMHO, this developer deserves to be helped.) TO SUM UP: SDR hardware - $11...20. ADS-B software $2.60. Having a tool in the cockpit that helps you avoid midair collisions, and a developer that responds immediately to a request for support: PRICELESS! I would give this app a 6 *.
