Works great! Successfully restored some apps with data after switching to another ROM. Restoring WiFi settings apparently didn't restore the passwords. I'd prefer in additon to dropbox also the sdcard as backup path.

Installed program missing manifest entries!! I will submit a more charitable and realistic review of the product when it is updated with a manifest that declares the required android permission ACCESS SUPERUSER permission. Without it I can't give a fair rating, especially for a paid app. Yes there are workarounds, but they reduce security.

First I thought it's a good app and I bought Pro.. ...but then when I tried to restore some backed up apps on a changed ROM it fails. I also miss some documentation especially for what the two buttons "Sync w/ Dropbox" within backup-dialogs and "Refresh" within restore-dialoges exactly are made for or what they are doing. Some emails to the developer asking the questions above are long time not answered yet. App's description say: "If you are having any issues, please let me know before giving BackDrop a low rating. I am actively working on updates." The last update was almost 1 year ago and the Dev. don't reply on emails. What a shame! Downgrade to 2 stars from initially 5 stars. Does anybody else know what the two buttons "Sync w/ dropbox" and "Refresh" are doing?

Does it work? Any time I restore data it makes the app constantly force close. I've tried numerous apps on numerous devices and OS version. I've never got it restore data effectively.
