Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking is designed to help you perform your banking ‘on the go’ and in a way that is convenient to you.

We are introducing new features to our Mobile Banking app to meet requirements set out under the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Regulation. The introduction of SEPA means that cross-border electronic payments in euro across the SEPA zone can be as quick, easy and cost effective as domestic payments.

Our app has a host of features which can help you stay on top of your finances:

• View Account Balances on your Current, Demand Deposit, Term Loan and Credit Card accounts
• View Transaction Histories on these accounts
• Transfer money between your accounts
• Transfer money to your payees (excluding international payments)
• Pay your Bills
• Transfer money to your family and friends using only their mobile phone number (Customers must be registered for Pay to Mobile service)
• Search for Bank of Ireland Branches and ATMs in your area
• Contact Bank of Ireland

All accounts, payees and bills must be already registered on your 365 online profile in order to access them and perform above services on the Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking App.

You can get started by simply downloading the App and logging in with your existing 365 Online login details.

The first time you use the App, you will be asked to review and accept our Bank of Ireland online terms and conditions, which can also be viewed on www.bankofireland.com

Please note: the Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking app only supports OS versions 2.1 and higher.

Recent changes:
Mobile Top Up: You now have the ability to top up your own/family/friends mobile phones with phone credit up to the value of €50 (O2, Vodafone, Meteor).

You can now include your name on Pay to Mobile payments, which will appear in the text alert sent to recipients confirming payment.

A fix for those users previously struggling to log in with Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat, noted on Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
A fix for those users experiencing a black background on Android 4.4.2 noted on Google Nexus 5.

Not bad; wants root access Seems to work OK. Doesn't stay in memory after switching to another app: a good security feature. Wish I knew how the rest of the security works. Randomly asks for root access! Typical bank. Would ask for keys and wallet if it could get away with it.

Terrible The app doesn't register in recents (when multitasking) and on very rare occasions it actually loads the right information after bypassing the infinite load-loops at the start...it's very buggy

Good app I would like to see contactless payments via NFC through smartphones so I will no longer need cash or a wallet!
