An contacts app on mobile without search Seems that the news "The world has gone mobile" has reached Batchbook in some way. It seems they just don't care that much to actually build a search functionality into this otherwise well enough designed app. A quick inquiry via Twitter rendered the answer from batchbook account: "There is a "menu" button in the upper right hand corner of the screen, search contacts is tucked away in there!" - Actually there isn't a menu button at all. They seem to be trying... <sigh> but time have passed them by. A day later Batchbook Customer Service sent an e-mail and referred me to using the website through my phone and wait for better times... My conclusion is that Batchbook should remove the app from the store as it is not adequate anymore and it hurts its reputation as a modern technology company. I have deleted it from my phone already, and I resent Batchbook for not allowing me to productively access the data our company maintains through Batchbook. Technology should not get in the way of productivity. I also removed Batchbook from my list of Social CRMs. Mobile access is essential to me and many others. I am however not productive if I can't search in my 2000+ contacts.

Lacking basic features I use Batchbooks website for as a sales CRM tool. I have contacts listed under the companies they work for. Batchbook mobile does not allow you to search for these contacts by company name, only by the person's name. This is because Batchbook won't import individuals along with their companies. You have to tag individuals separately to get them into Batchbook mobile, so they lose the association with their company. Also, mapping company and individual contacts to be able to import them into Google Contacts is a chore. Fix these things and it would be a very usefull app.
