BJJ Training Journal

The BJJ Training Journal is “The App You Can Take On The Mat™.” It allows you to save & catalog every Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique that you learn at your academy or during seminars. Use your phone to record a video of the technique, upload it to your private account, and add additional details at your leisure.

Plus, the app monitors your weekly training consistency and makes recommendations based upon your attendance. The app also tracks your win percentage in competition and in the academy to increase motivation and to assess progress.

Nothing special Firstly, you have to sign up to use it, which is an annoyance. It is good, in the fact that you can record techniques you have learned in class, but you can't really keep a true journal, as you can't log your training sessions by date and duration and what you learned. The "Mat Time" function is a good idea, but really doesn't do anything. If I log that I train 3 days each week over 30 days, the result is "You train 1.87 days a week. You need more time on the Mat". Both incorrect, and somewhat pointless.
