Please note that version 1.1.0 does not work on devices where freed wakelocks do not ignore the timeout if they are already free, but crash the application instead. This is solved with 1.1.1.

Using the GPS location provider in combination with the background service can lead to high battery use. Please use the network or the passive location provider for background operation.

Over all its pretty good, but Does use alot of battery. Stopping the app. does seem to clear battery use up. I will just stop it after each use. This is a very good app an well worth the money!! The app restarts after reboot

Great. This app I find is accurate and pretty fast in notifying me of lightning strikes and how far away they are. Notification at top of screan means I dont have to open the app full screen. I am in the U.K. and it works well.Try it.
