Bluetooth Launch

Bluetooth Launch

Allows you to pick an activity to launch on when you use the Bluetooth button on most headsets.

This is no frills (some even call it ugly) but still works nicely. (Cut me some slack, I wrote it in 2 days, using standard UI elements from FroYo. That said, I see no reason to update it unless I'm really fixing something.)

Simply select the application to see a list of activities. Then pick the activity you want launched. For example:
Google Search
com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.VoiceSearchActivity

That's it. Connect your headset, hit the button and you're good to go.

Notes:
Not all headsets work correctly. Some have odd behavior and do not follow the standard. I own only a couple of headsets and test to those.
Not all activities work correctly either. It is simply not possible for me to download and test every activity for every app. You are responsible for figuring out what works and what doesn't.

Works great, requires a little effort It's a little tricky to figure this out, but once you get it working it's great! I use it to launch Google Voice Search.

Horribly out of date. Unusable The UI is all messed up so everything is super close together and hard to select, but the major problem is that this just doesn't work. On the first press, the "which app do you want to use for this?" message pops up, and even if you select "always" with bluetooth launch, it'll go back to messed up next time you press the button. Google Now does not work. On the odd occasion you can get the app launched on a button pressed, the microphone is muted, or the recording audio is otherwise not getting there, rendering it all completely, utterly useless.
