This is a puzzle game with a little chance thrown in. You have to take in account the chances there are multipliers vs. the chance that you will hit a bomb in each row/column. As more of the board is revealed through play the easier it is to find the multipliers by elimination. The only question is will your opponent figure out where the bigger multipliers are first?
There isn’t always a for sure pick. You will have to figure out the best odds for yourself.
Play solo. Try to beat your score by make it through the five rounds hitting as few bombs as possible. What is the highest score you can get?
Play two player hot seats. This is where the real strategies come out. Is it better to play it safe or take a chance? Losers blame it on bad luck. Winners claim they are smarter. Odds are one of them is right.
CPU Bawb – He really isn’t the smartest AI ever created. Rather than think he will truly leave it up to fate. He is a great CPU to build confidence and to get a better understanding of the game.
CPU Stu – He is a good opponent once you know what you are doing. Much like you he is bound to make a mistake from time to time. He will hit bombs, but will never hit a 1. To beat him you will need to hit less bombs and you are better off finding 3’s before he does.
CPU Helga – The name really says it all. She doesn’t play nice. She will never hit a bomb and the only way to beat her is to find the 3s before her. You might get away with hitting a bomb early on, but you may never recover in time. She can be beat, but was created to frustrate the snot out of you and to give you the chance to prove that you are truly smarter than a CPU.s.
