Great for wireless scoring

Good System I have installed a 12-table system using this and am about to upgrade to 15 tables. . Have used this for Mitchell and Howell movements with Scorebridge, and no problems other than self-inflicted ones. Cost about 25% of Bridgemate equivalent. As Michael Scully implied, using the £30ish tablets from Amazon the main problem is battery life. I turn the screen down, switch off sounds and make sure no other applications are running. I also use the "Gravity Screen" app which switches the screen off after 1 minute of inactivity and switches it on when the tablet is picked up. Still have 40% charge after a 2.5 hour session. All the players seem to like it and have no problem using it.

Wireless scoring Great for any club wanting to start or to augment their existing wireless system. Only warning for £30 tablets is to adjust the brightness to about 40%. It is more than ample at that. Great for visually impaired and everyone prefers colour and the larger display.

Running a trial It does what it says! I will be able to replace my bridge mates at a fraction of the cost. Large intuitive display will be appreciated by members whose sight is not so good.
