California Incidental

California Incidental

California Incidental lets you help your fellow road warriors avoid trouble by reporting and sharing incidents you see on the road. You can vote on other users input, so the accuracy of the reported incidents is better.

The application also shows you all the incidents California Highway Patrol responds to, on a map, in real time. You can either manually pan the map to find the incidents near you, or take the backseat and let the application take you to the latest action on a secondary screen (for example your TV) with your Intel Wireless Display (or any other Miracast compliant) capable device. You can also use your device's HDMI connection for that.

Enable location services, and the map will move with you, giving you visual warnings of incidents and other items, and letting you know how far away ahead they are. Perfect for keeping an eye on traffic conditions up the road as you travel!

See the actual road conditions using the roadside camera feature (for California). Click on a camera icon on the map to see what's happening!

Great app for route planning Great app for route (avoidance) planning. Shows all CHP incident reports and gives you a more comprehensive picture of what routes to avoid than Google Maps traffic overlay.
