The Call Info+ displays the city and state where a number is registered on the incoming call screen. Unlike other caller id apps, Call Info+ also displays the Service provider for the registered number. For example, if you receive a call from the number "(404)200100", the app displays "ATLANTA, GA" for the registered location and "SPRINT" for the service provider (see screenshots below).
PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING
1) How it works
Call Info+ looks up the number information from a database installed on your phone. You will be prompted to download this database when the app is first launched (see point #2 below). Because the database is local, the app does not require internet connection in normal operation. This allows it to function equally on both CDMA and GSM phones. The application currently resolves only US and Canadian numbers.
There is also an option to manually lookup the information for a number.
2) Database installation
There are two mirror sites to download the database from. You will require a data plan to download the database file
directly from your phone. If the download fails for one mirror site, try the alternate site. If you do not have a
data plan or cannot download from the web, you can download the file from one of the download links below onto your computer. Once on your computer, transfer the file onto your phone's SD card. Launch the Call Info app and then import the file from SD card. Contact the developer if you have issues in this regard.
You can change the position, background, text font and color of the call card shown on the call screen (see screenshots).
This trial version lasts for only 7 days. To continue using the app please purchase the unlocked version for only $0.99
