To process transactions, you must have a merchant account with Chase Paymentech, install the Chase Mobile Checkout app and have the Chase Mobile Checkout Card Reader attached to your smartphone.

There is no charge to download this app, but depending on your merchant service account terms, there may be charges associated with the purchase and shipment of the card reader. When using the app, message and data rates may apply. Such charges include, but are not limited to, those from your communications service provider. In addition, all applicable processing fees outlined in the merchant services contract with Chase Paymentech will be assessed for all transactions initiated through the app.

Transaction processing may be interrupted for various reasons, including service outages affecting your phone, wireless or Internet provider, technology failures, and system capacity limitations.

This is the most aggravating mobile checkout I have ever dealt with. We are obligated by our merchant service contract to use it or I wouldn't bother. It is hard to connect, is constantly logging out, incompatible with my tablet so I have to use it on my phone. No way to access the data online, you have to do it through the app, which when running reports or searching for information is really difficult. Plus the mobile swiper for this app is ridiculous annoying, even on compatible phones it doesn't connect half the time. The swiper won't hold a charge for a full day, so in mid-afternoon you will find yourself semi-mobile as you will have to have it plugged it and charging or it won't work. AND the swiper costs a ridiculous amount, as opposed to others which are a minimum charge. If you have a choice, I would recommend other systems. We were able to use Square in the past but can't anymore per our contract.
