User reviews of Chordbot Pro
After trying lots of different apps to make music on the go, I found this to simply be the best : you can try your chord progressions, experiment with chord substitutions on the fly, export to MIDI, manage song sections, etc... Feature request : enforce voice leading rules, there seems to be a primitive coding of this, but sometimes Maj7 chords stand out way more than they should. It would be nice to be able to switch styles inside a single song.

This is such an amazing app for someone like me who likes to make music but knows nothing about chord progressions. Helps me immensely!

Wonderful app The only complaint, well, not complaint, but suggestion / request is for some harsher guitar sounds. Let's get some dirt under the fingernails.

Brilliant Beautiful sounds. Unlimited potential. Only needs an option not to overwrite a rendered or saved song. Lost a track with an accidental overwrite.

Read for different ideas of how to use this You can save different copies of the same song(say you want keys at one part and not another), and mix them together if you have a recording app. If you do so you can even use onboard effects to make it have a different sound (pitch shifter chorus etc.) Or you can even make an 8x8 virtual orchestra. I used this with audio evolution and took note of bpm and even added things from their free sample pack onto it.Made an acoustic song into a new wave song using these methods lowpitchshift stereoecho on beats.
