Doesn't support built in NFC App won't work unless you have an NFC sim card from particular vendors. This is stupid as many phones already have built in NFC so adding another chip is redundant.

Doesn't work on Galaxy S5 What a joke, I bought the Galaxy S4 last year and it worked great on it, no problems at all. I just upgraded to the new Galaxy S5 model and guess what, CIBC tells me they don't support the Galaxy S5 model. Why? absolutely no reason given except we are working on it. Already 3 months have passed since the launch of the new Galaxy S5 model and CIBC can't make it work with the new model? I think I will cancel my CIBC credit card and go to RBC. CIBC, get your act together please.

Doesn't even work Bought a brand new nfc sim from a Telus Store. Got everything setup with CIBC over the phone. Tried at 3 different terminals and none of them work. No feedbacks from any of the terminals. McDonalads X2 and London Drugs all not working. This has to be fixed asap. I don't want to hold up the line at a terminal. ------------------------------------------------------------------- App updated to version 1.4 but still only able to download version 1.0. Also Yes, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 bought from Telus. I get the 30s countdown and it's still not working. I get 'Unsupported Software' or 'Tap Not supported' on the terminal. Needs fixing.

Amazing feature. But customer service will not be able to help you if something goes wrong while setting up When you first sign up make sure you have your NFC and Data turned on. Otherwise you'll have to contact customer service and they have no idea about this feature that CIBC has and will transfer you to another department and then to another and another and then finally someone with authorization will be able to go into the system and set it for you.

Does not work with Galaxy 5 yet. I could give this a higher rating once I get it working. But for now, my Galaxy S5 is not supported. Yes, I did look for information about which phones are supported first. But essentially you had to get to the app to see the details. Not the best information policy from CIBC. Now I bought a NFC SIM card ($15) and get nothing from it. I can't even get the 25$ rebate from CIBC that they promised if you sign up for mobile payment before the end of June 2014. So, so far I am down by $15 and have no mobile payment feature.
