Convert your Android device to a document scanner. Use your USB scanner to scan single or multipage documents to PDF, JPEG, TIFF or BMP. Scan *directly* from Gmail, Evernote, Google Drive, Box, and many others. Share scanned documents directly through your normal share options such as Gmail, Skype, Evernote, Drive, Box, etc.

If you are buying a new scanner, we recommend the Plustek MobileOffice S400, as these drivers were provided by the manufacturer.

To scan while in Gmail, Evernote, Drive, etc, choose the option that would let you add from your camera or attach a file, and Accusoft USB Scanner will show up in the list of choices. Select Accusoft USB Scanner, scan and save, and the document will be uploaded/attached automatically to your email, note or document.

For scanning from selected scanner models Accusoft USB Scanner uses backend libraries provided by SANE (http://www.sane-project.org). The drivers are distributed under GNU General Public License, version 2 with some exceptions as outlined on the SANE website.

Great idea! The snapscan S1100 runs off the USB from a Nexus 7, which is currently not supported. Very portable scanner, and would love it to be supported! Well done anyway!

Works great I bought it after using the trial version because it does what I need. After using it though I have a couple suggestions. The settings options shouldn't revert to default every time the app is run. When scanning jpg pictures, it should just save each scan as a single file automatically if multi save isn't an option or give the option to save but keep track of the destination folder and save consecutively. I scan many photos at a time and having to rename every save is tedious. Five stars if batch mode or auto consecutive file scan was part of the app.

Wish this supported the S1300i.. Was hoping that the S1300i, the current version of the Fujitsu S1300, would work with this app. Sadly, it doesn't! It's been out for a while-- hopefully we'll see it supported soon by the devs.

Galaxy Tab 2 and DSmobile 600 I had to get a High Speed USB HUB to get it working. I don't see any way to scan legal size documents in the app settings, but my scanner is capable. I can work around that. There doesn't seem to be any way to use the contrast and brightness settings. They are visable, but don't move. I had horrible almost black looking scans until I calibrated with the Tab (I had calibrated with my computer before all this, so I didn't realize it needed to be calibrated for the Tab as well. Once I did that, the color lightened up to acceptable, although they are still darker than they should be. If I could adjust the brightness, etc., I'm sure it would help. I've emailed the Dev to see how to fix that. It's a great app, needs a little work to make it perfect, but I purchased it as is with the hopes that development will continue. I am very happy to see someone making Android drivers, etc. for "Windows" based equipment. Go Android! Thanks Devs!!!
