Future development will continue with the open source Beats2 project. See https://github.com/Keripo/Beats2 for more details.

"Beats, Advanced Rhythm Game" is a music-based rhythm game for Google Android phones/devices. Press arrows to the beat of songs StepMania/Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) style or tap circles osu!/Ouendan/Elite Beat Agent (EBA) style!

Beats comes with 10 sample songs, but there are hundreds of free stepfiles available for download via the "DOWNLOAD SONGS" menu item. Beats currently does NOT generate stepfiles for the music on your phone; this will be added in the future.

Reminiscent of my DDR days It can't replace DDR, but it sure as hell gives you the closest euphoric feeling of great beats and the challenge of 1/8th steps. My glory days of AAA Songs may be be over but this is just as much fun as working your way up from novice to extreme expert. I just wish I could show off some trick moves lol.

I Love It I love the simple arrow tapping. Very classic and arcade like. Love the ability to download your own tracks and find songs you love.
