All works great. Can now receive calls on my UK business local number from anywhere Update: 2018 Still works pretty well even though it hasn't been updated in a long time. Sometimes a little buggy but works well for the most part. Someone mentioned you cant paste which isn't necessarily correct. To paste first type any number, then long press and hold over that number and it will paste your number in. If the dev ever wants to update this i would design a new UI for it :)

I've been using Zoiper with MyNetFone (aLaw/PCMa codec) for a while now but wanted to have a backup soft sip phone option. It turns out that setup with CSipSimple is indeed simple and the interface appears to be somewhat more polished and faster to load. Keep both around just in case one stops working for whatever reason. Recommended.

CSipSimple and Sipdroid are both excellent. CSipSimple is probably heavier but has a slicker UI and a better integration with the OS. Didn't notice any major difference in terms of call quality. I've been using CSipSimple lately... **Update:** no update since 2014, now abandonware - 3 stars

In all the years this has been around it still doesn't work. Calls end randomly, calls dropout. Its very u reliable and this makes it useless. I wish someone would make a working sip app for android.
