K-9 supports IMAP, POP3 and Exchange 2003/2007 (with WebDAV).

testing this app for about two days. its a bit buggy

I really wanted to like this app. It has so many customization options that it thought I could get it to do exactly what I wanted. The problem? It's just too buggy. The performance opening email is excruciating. Nothing seems to be stored locally and tasks take too long to process. This program still needs time in the oven. Back to gmail for now.

Awesome. Great app. Not real pretty, but very usable. 12/16/11 Update: K9 has started giving me trouble where it will drop out of the mailbox. No FCs, just not opening my mailboxes. Happening about 80% of the time.

Keeps downloading email on pop server over and over. Notifications get hung and have to be cleared with another utility. uninstalled after a year.

After 3 days Very good and it work great on my Galaxy S. Pdf and document attachments would make this 6 stars and then no need for default email app.

Just installed it - looks good! For IMAP (own server) I had problems with the "Mail" that came with my Cooper: 1. Even though setting "Check mail every: 5 minutes" this did not seem to keep working. I was surprised when I found my inbox with many new mails. No good reason. 2. Outgoing mail was not moved to Sent-folder on server, and I could also not do it manually. Especially (1) was serious. K-9 has - so far - had none of these problems. I look forward trying it further. The 5 stars are "5 stars so far" :-)

Very good Great app. My only critique would be to allow you to change order of accounts once you add them.

few days in: i like it many great features and open source. the FOSS revolution is becoming a reality.
