PdaNet allows your computer to go online through the Android phone's Internet connection. Supports USB/Bluetooth DUN. It does not require a tether plan or rooting. Supports Mac and PC. Easy and fast!

PdaNet includes an additional SMS Agent app allowing you to send or receive SMS from PC.

Free edition limits secure sites.

Installed through http://junefabrics.com/. Tried easytether and it was brutally slow. First day, so far so good.

Easy to use, works like a charm, XP - Android 2.1 I've only used this app in USB mode, but was easy to install and just worked, better than others I tried. Win XP SP3 - Android 2.1

You need to tether to your computer, turn on usb debugging (in applications, under developement) turn on pda on ur phone and on ur computer
