BATTERY USE
With Moves, our goal was to create an app that will keep your phone running fine if you charge it nightly. In tests with Moves and other typical phone use, we’ve reached that goal, but your results may vary, as there are many variables that affect battery consumption. We’re continuously working on minimizing battery consumption even further.

SAMSUNG NOTE II INCOMPATIBILITY
Unfortunately, Samsung Note II cannot run its accelerometer sensor in the background. We have tried different solutions, but we have not found a satisfactory way to support the device. We would really like to support Note II and try to find a way in the future.

Good app. Simple, does what it says on the tin Moves is not amazingly advanced or fancy, but that's not a bad thing. It promises to count steps using just your phone and that's exactly what it does. It's just software utilising your phone's gyro and accelerometer, and so you can trick it into reading false steps by shaking your phone in a specific forceful way, but honestly why would you? It can also tell if you're cycling, or riding in a vehicle (I'm not sure how) which to be honest is the surprise cherry on top of a simple, well made, and tasty cake.

Not accurate... When I first started using it, it was quite accurate. But, as of late, it has not accurately counted my steps. It's off by thousands. It is frustrating when you are trying to keep trap of your mileage.

Really nice I used different apps but I got tired from the hassle to start and stop them every time I excerse. This is really nice alternative. I REALLY WANT THE CALORIE COUNT THOUGH.

Cool but.. ..my days end and start at 6 in the morning and not midnight. Please add the option to set this, as it affects the high score count. Thanks. PS: also would a week or month overview be cool :)

it was great, maybe it will be It was good till some update. Now it just sucks energy from your buttery like fucking black hole. I leave it at night on and it eats about 20% of battery just staying idle. For better tracking you need to turn on your GPS which will eat energy too. And it's bad that there is no such state like not moving (among walking, running, cycling, transport). I like this app very much for its design and simplicity but what it does to your battery is not acceptable.
