At long last! Finally Squarespace has brought its app to Android! In this you can compose and edit posts (text only it seems), get rid of spam comments very quickly, and view stats! This is a great start from the best blog platform, IMO.

Great as always Like everything else Squarespace does, its simple & delivers. I would like to see a more than a week of stats, but what more could you want?

Can't publish Every time I publish a post it reverts to draft. Pretty useless app.

Login fails Like others, I downloaded the app, installed it, and I can't even add my account and login to the app. It tells me it failed every time. I have doublechecked the password and typed it in multiple times. Definitely not selling me on upgrading my account.

pictures don't work I've had a ticket open with squarespace tech support for about a month now, and it hasn't really gone anywhere. Try it yourself: upload a picture. You need to "share" from whatever app, like file explorer. The problem is that it will go up as a draft, and you can't make it published from the app. Every time you try, it duplicates the picture you uploaded. What bugs me is that this is pretty straight forward software development and I'm actually surprised that a company like Squarespace let something out the door so untested. If you just need to get text on your blog/journal, you can use the email-in function that's been around for a while, so honestly I'm not really sure what functionality is gained by having the app at all. Hopefully they get this resolved. I have a feeling everyone at Squarespace is using Apples so maybe they just don't pay attention to the Android world.
