This plugin for Twidroyd (f.k.a Twidroid) gets the current location either via GPS or coarse location and shows it on a Google Map. The location can then be attached to a Tweet either as a link to Google Maps or as a geo location annotation.

Please make sure you "Enable geotagging" in your Twitter profile.

I was hoping that this would show the general location of where other peoples tweets originate, like the Official Twitter client does, but it just shows where I am. but still a worthwhile add on

Locations tend to be coarse, even with supposed GPS fixes. Never really sure what I'm attaching to a tweet.

Handy plugin, allowing both geotag web link and annotated tweet, manually per tweet. Should be built in!

Only use WITHIN Twidroyd folks! Doesn't find my location on my X closes all the time.
