Copter Controller

Copter Controller

PLEASE NOTE: This app requires the Lightspeed Phone Controlled Helicopter that you then control with this app.

Fly the Lightspeed 3.5 channel, gyro helicopter with your smartphone.

You can fly the Phone Controlled Helicopter via the virtual joystick or via motion control (tilt your smartphone).

Up to 3 Lightspeed helicopters can be flown at the same time by selecting an available band (A/B/C).

The Copter Control App works with the Lightspeed helicopter and transmitter that are sold separately and not available on the Android market. This app on it's own won’t control anything unless your purchase the Lightspeed helicopter separately, but you can still download it to see what the control interface looks like.

See www.i-helicopters.net for more details about how to purchase the Lightspeed Helicopter that works with this App.

User reviews of Copter Controller
The control is crude and poorly calibrated.Very small adjustment to throttle control will send copter straight through your ceiling.Direction movement is very poor-whether this is due to the poor gyro in the copter or the poor control interface who knows?

Not compatible with HTC ONE M8 has the helicopter for over a month now and I'm a little disappointed they haven't increased compatability to the latest phones.

Perfect I don't have a helicopter but my cousin does. He has two so I borrow one of his. It's a lightspeed helicopter and it works however the steering is rubbish. But can somtimes work!

Awesome...when it works At first I had huge issues with the copter. But there are very few things on the internet to help so here is my advice: 1. Make sure you charge the helicopter itself for quite a long time, despite what the instructions say I have never seen the "fully charged" LED so I charged it over night. 2. Make sure the phone is on airplane mode. 3. Don't launch on grass it just doesn't work. 4. Don't use it outside, unless its dark...I started to get better results when I was using it in the shade and it started working perfectly in the evenings inside. I assume its because the receiver is IR and sunlight interferes. Despite all of this I have still never got the camera working. If I do I'll report back. I have tried it on these handsets: Iphone 4: partially works Iphone 5s: Couldnt get it to work EE Eagle: Doesn't work Galax S4: Worked perfectly
