The CTV News Cottage Traffic App is a real-time personalized traffic reporting system for Simcoe County, Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Parry Sound and southern Ontario. With hands-free visual and audio feedback advising you of traffic conditions on your route, you’re always aware of any traffic congestion well in advance. The Cottage Traffic App will change the way you drive!



Using anonymously collected data gathered from other users, live accident and construction information, and the knowledge of your saved routes the CTV News Cottage Traffic App guides you to your destination with informative, real-time updates. It’s like having a personal traffic helicopter watching your route every time you get into your car.



You can also help other users by reporting traffic issues with a press of a button on your phone. You will be connected to our traffic reporting centre where you can provide us with traffic updates which will then be put into the system right away. With your input, other users will not only know the traffic ahead may be slow, but will also be told why. Download the app and join the the CTV News Cottage Traffic App community today!

Great app! Great for me and my husband! He travels to toronto M-F and I travel to Orillia for work. Great to get notifications before I set out so I inow if I need to leave early!
