DECIM8

"Results can be surprisingly beautiful… DOWNLOAD" - App Judgement
"The App Store’s best glitch app" - LifeInLoFi.com
"Definitely a nice change up from the thousands of redundant retro-editing apps." - WeAreJuxt.com
"Capable of rewarding patience with some stunning images. Definitely worth a look if you're into experimenting with your images" - iPhoneArt.com

FILM IS DEAD ... And yet many camera apps still insist upon attempting simulations of that long-past era. We say NO to artificial nostalgia, pushing forward in the digital realm with different forms of creative destruction.

With that in mind we present Decim8, a digital tool for photographic destruction. Armed with a set of bit-glitching filters, evolve your pictures into strange and sublime artifacts bordering on chaos. There are no effects to simulate your grandpa's snapshots. No virtual replicas of plastic instant-cams from your imaginary summer of '73. Just mad combinations of digital data-mashing. That's how we roll.

Features:
- 24 insane digital effects not found in any other app
- User may randomize OR custom arrange-and-activate effects
- Decim8 images from your photo library
- Full-size output
- Effects never exactly the same twice

** WARNING! THIS APP IS CAPABLE OF COMPLETELY DESTROYING AN IMAGE. (You can keep the original of course!) If this doesn't appeal to you, there are LOTS of apps out there to provide all the "safe" effects you could ever want. If you're looking for something more, something new and unpredictable.. capable of making art that's challenging yet beautiful, then we think you will enjoy DECIM8!

Cool app, Lollipop issues? I love this app on my Note 3 running 4.4.2, but on my Nexus 10 running 5.0 it crashes after you select an image to glitch. Could be a tablet issue too. Getting a Nexus 6 soon so I'm hoping it will work there.

Had this on ios And was amazing on IOS. On here, not so much. Crashes on occasion from simply opening a picture. And constantly refuses to work with specific photos (ones transferred over from my iphone, ironically enough). Not all the photos from my iPhone, but a lot of them. Seems to be ones with more detail.

Is a good app But don't like the interface, confusing, you have to select filters on a filter list then click on back. Also you don't have any idea on how they will look before you apply them. They need to organized their app like pic say pro, little photo, photo editor, that they have small size apps but still well organize, So you have an idea of what you going to apply before you do it. Also is kinda laggy. But overall good app.

Feature request! (App. Is stunning as is, but!) Please add saving of presets. I've built some great fx. Combinations and would love to save them. Thanks, Abstract Cats. EDIT: Crash report, Brainfeeder, seems to crash with other FX, I've tried it with most others and it crashes 8 of 10 times.

Love it! Been using Decim8 on iOS and happy to see it on Android. There are some differences between the versions but loving it on both.
