Good Story; Better Gameplay The amount of tactical planning required to play this game keeps me always looking forward to the next battle. The only problem is that occasionally the game freezes when an enemy gets two or more abilities refreshing at the same time.

Loved it until glitches happened too often. I played it daily. Loved it. Even tried to play knowing there were some issues. Eventually, I just couldn't progress any further because the story battles would just stop. Instead of the AI taking its turn the system would stop in limbo only allowing for the usual queries on the monster cards. There is no menu to pull up so once the system stops you have to reboot without saving battle progress. What a shame.

GREAT game but crashes constantly Very enjoyable game, fun turn based gameplay. Difficulty is just at the right pace to want to level up and progress. Cool artwork in the game and like the optional sidequests. The only downside is unfortunately a big one in that the game will popup "failed to login" and then crash. It will happen often during a battle and will lose progress of the battle and have to restart, frustrating when its a boss battle. At the least the game autosaves so the game will start just before the battle or when crashed.

Lack of commitment from game developers. However great this game is, it has been off my device since November. The fourth stage is one complete bug, no kind of play can happen - literally. Besides, the rest of the game is littered with other minute inconsistencies and, finally, I am writing this review now because I had the impression that Decromancer would have received a major update or overhaul at the end of year 2014 or maybe a New Year surprise. Moreover, I find it rather rude that the game has 'in-app purchases' when it is being offered incomplete. I understand that without spending any money one can still ''finish'' the game, yet I do not see this as proper etiquette. I believe that if its creators want to earn revenue, the least that they can do is offer a completely playable and beatable game. Having said that, the game's concept is innovative, its art is candy, I rate it three stars.
