Works well with dragon diction. You need to speak clearly when dictating or your sentences will not be clear.

Does the job Been looking for a reliable app to help me record telephone numbers, names, email addresses etc. When you are disabled & only have the use of one hand which is holding the phone, reliability is the key word!!! Galaxy tab 10.1 - jellybean 4.21

Works with Dragon Naturally Speaking I was searching for an app to record dictation on my Android phone, email the resulting file to myself, and use my Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium to transcribe the file. There was no good information on the web. I tried the free Philips Dictation Recorder, which I could not make work. There was a 2 year old suggestion that Dictadroid might be able to do it. I gambled and paid the modest fee for the full version. It was easy to figure out and appears to work perfectly, but only after increasing the default sampling rate from the settings screen. Seems like a great app.

Best app of its kind! I tried several similar apps and this one is definitely the best, easiest to use, and loaded with some very nice features. Saves me from spending $100+ on another piece of equipment (a digital recorder) that I don't need unless I think about dictating lots of stuff in the future and wanting to purchase Dragon Dictate to recognize my recordings for transcription. For now, I am doing just fine with this app and the future may end up buying a standalone recorder for bigger projects.
