User reviews of Digital Photo Frame Slideshow
This is absolutely the best photo frame and slideshow app available today. Excellent display layout and transition options that don't detract from the images (like those cutesy apps). Perfect for displaying an album slideshow or more, especially on an otherwise idle tablet in the office or large screen presentations (and home theater android tv sticks). Functionally, exactly what I wanted and will continue to use for slideshows on screens both small and large. My favorite features: random folder with time-ordered slides, photo player layout, start up where left off, and remember location. A few pieces of feedback/requests: My biggest request would be to add the Daydream service. I'll bet that the home theater community moving to these Android devices (as I am) will love this app to show off their pictures when they aren't using it otherwise. On Fullscreen Photos layout, I'd request alternating placements left/right, top/bottom (and perhaps other relative off-center lines as well) placement for photos that don't fit the full screen, so the entire screen gets used. On the Photo Player layout, please let me have the option to turn off the images sliding back and forth. For Photo Ordering sort setting, please add option of Random Folder, Alpha Sort. I'd like to use a remote keyboard for various aspects (similar to the left arrow) without going into manual mode: - toggle screen data on and/off (as a whole or individually) - move forward or backward images (perhaps using the left/right arrow keys) - move forward or backward folders/albums (perhaps using the up/down arrow keys) Bugs: For Photo Ordering sort setting, the Random Folder Time Sort doesn't seem to actually choose a folder randomly, rather follows the alpha order. This is the one I really want to use. And it shouldn't repeat a folder until all have played. It doesn't seem to remember my last viewed image in the slide show, so when it restarts, I'm back to the beginning of all my photos again. On my device, sometimes when using transitions, I get a weird boxy mosaic of 2 images that never fully resolves (I haven't found a pattern yet). I purchased the premium version because of how good this tool is. As a photographer, I could care less about the social media options that steal your IP/rights, so love the local option, especially to run from a network location (but understand how others would want this). But I really want/need the Daydream service added as none of the other photo apps that have Daydream compare to this one.

Pretty good app Takes a while to get used to it , but one of the few that keep the individual frames , instead of creating a video

Obnoxious Tried to look at an attachment on my phone, instead I was bombarded by full screen advertisements.

Clunky interface, and the most obnoxious full screen ads I've ever experienced.

Watch 30 sec ads every time you exit app!? NOT! I like this app. But not enough to watch a 30 second app every time it closes.
