Drill Bit Charts

Drill Bit Charts

This is a very simple free app with charts for drill bits sizes in fractional inches, metric, US number, and US letter sizes. It scales to larger screens on 7" and 10" tablets for easy readability.

12/1/2013 - Added a Tap Drills for U.S. Sizes chart with drill sizes for 100%, 75%, and 50% threads as well as clearance sizes.

6/12/2014 - Added a Tap Drills for Metric Sizes chart with drill sizes for 75%, and 50% threads as well as clearance sizes. Added a welcome screen to show new features.

6/22/2014 - Added a button to upgrade to Drill Bit Charts Pro which is available for the minimum paid fee It includes a handy Unit Converter and will be getting new features like a newly added Wood Screws chart.

10/21/14 - Fixed a theme issue on some new devices with previews of Lollipop.

Please feel free to rate, review, and comment on the app. It will continue to get enhancements and new features. Please tell your friends and colleagues about it.

This app is part of my RC Calculators paid app for R/C modelers. I broke it out into a separate app because I found it very useful and wanted to make the drill charts free. There is now a version called RC Calculators Free Edition. It has a Unit Converter, Engine size calculator, Battery Voltage calculator, and other tools that even non-modelers will find useful.

Very Usable It is a great app. The only thing that could make it better would be if you could freeze the thread as you scrolled over to see all the way to your clearance fits.

Tap drill chart The chart is great, however, an inbeded tap drill size calculator would be cool too for calculating special non standard tap drill sizes.
