DroidPlane

DroidPlane is a mind mapping application for Android. It allows you to open FreePlane [1] and FreeMind [2] documents on your Android device. DroidPlane is optimized for large mind maps with many thousand nodes. The map is not displayed in the conventional format, but as a navigable tree. This makes it possible to browse through large mind maps on relatively small screens.

Files can be opened directly from Dropbox or any other file manager. At the moment, it is only possible to open files read only. Editing mind maps is not yet possible.

The application is in a very early state right now. Please send me an email to [email protected] if you have wishes, suggestions and feedback. Thanks!

OK, but needs an "open" menu and better integration I can't open any mm file with DroidPlane from within an EDS container. All other apps appear on the list of options, except DroidPlane. So I have to leave the MM files in an unencrypted folder. Frustrating. Other than that, I can read the mm files in the app. It lacks a search option.

Awesome! In order to view my Freeplane maps on my phone, I always had to save as pdf, and this was very clunky. Thanks for this app! Keep up the good work!

Simple and effective! Very simple, crash-safe from the start and highly useful app that has lead me back to organizing life via freeplane. 5 stars after editing mode will be implemented. Already excited! :-)

Great Start The app is simple, but does the basics of what you need - open a Freeplan mindmap. It even shows the icons. I'm looking forward to continued development, especially the ability to edit maps.
