DroidPSK - PSK for Ham Radio

DroidPSK - PSK for Ham Radio

DroidPSK is an application to decode and encode Ham Radio BPSK31 and BPSK63. A great tool for portable Amateur Radio PSK operation.
DroidPSK is able to decode a BPSK31 or BPSK63 signal though the build in microphone. Just hold your Android phone or tablet close to the speaker of you Amateur Radio transceiver, adjust the waterfall slider to the PSK carrier frequencies and DroidPSK will start decoding.
In transmitting mode characters can be entered trough the keyboard. 20 Macros are also available to store standard texts like "name and qth" and "station info"
Starting V2.0 DroidPSK now also includes a logbook. Callsign, Name RST etc can be easily transferred into the lookbook from the receiving screen. The logbook also includes ADIF export and import to transfer your logbook data to a PC based logging software.
If you like to see more information you can take a look at the manual at: http://www.wolphi.com/ham-radio-apps/droidpsk/manual/
The suggested frequencies for PSK on the Amateur Radio bands are:
- 160m 1838.15 MHz
- 80m 3580.15 MHz
- 40m 7035.15 MHz for region 1 and region 3, and 7080.15 MHz for region 2 *
- 30m 10142.15 MHz
- 20m 14070.15 MHz

I like it a lot... To think that not so long ago this required a PC and peripherals to do this... All I need now is Siple way to connect it to my phone jack and I'm away on the move.....

Great bit of Software I've been using this for over a week now and found it decodes brilliantly. My main use is portable/mobile a tablet being much less cumbersome that a laptop and it preforms it's task flawlessly. from home I normally run MultiPSK but since downloading this software I have used ti exclusively . I have found it excellent both from home and mobile. Along with all the other Droidxx programs it is very well supported. It will be interesting to see if we get a CW Send and Receive, that would be good for portable/mobile use . Keep up the good work Wolfgang. Frank G4HBI

VERY well done. I've been a ham a LONG time, but just now jumping into digital...mostly because I don't like change. ;) When first setting it up, I had a minor issue, and the developer was with me right away and helped me figure out my mistake. EXCELLENT tech support. The app itself is flawless. Once getting it set up, I was making contacts, literally, within minutes. This app is WELL worth the money.
