Een firewall. Ook voor Android nodig als je klein beetje security-minded bent.

Very nice addition revoke network traffic (requires lib/modules/netfilter on /system)

To use, 1. I rooted phone with http://www.droidforums.net/forum/android-forum/156103-nerdslogic-resource-thread-multiple-phones.html Note that the -widget- button did not work until AFTER I had enabled the firewall from the Application button -> settings -> Enable. Now the widget enables and disables the firewall... very confusing, just glad to have it working finally.

Droidwall is a decent firewall and gets the job done. Much the same as the rest of the firewalls available but lets you control the on/off state of the firewall. It doesn't provide information on what apps are trying to access the network (either via Wifi or 3/4G); which makes troubleshooting access a headache. Another huge problem is the lack of logging and traffic sent by app and connection. It's cool that it's free but maybe they'll release a better paid version that incorporates basic necessary firewall tools.
