*You must own a Synology NAS to run this app, and be running the latest version of Cloud Station 3.1 Beta on your DiskStation to get all features listed below*

DS cloud is the counterpart to Cloud Station for your Android device. It allows you to choose the folders on your DiskStation which you want to sync to your mobile device and make available for offline viewing. DS cloud also gives you total control over the sync criteria: for each folder, you can set the maximum file size as well as the type of files you wish to sync.

With DS cloud for Android devices, you can:
-Synchronise files between Cloud Station on your DiskStation and your mobile device (limited to 10GB per file)
-Select which folders you want to sync and set the sync behaviour per folder (maximum file size and file formats)
-Browse, view and play files synced to your Android device
-Choose to sync on Wifi connections only/disable background sync to reduce consumption
-View files which have been recently modified
-Connect with your QuickConnect ID
-Transmission encrypted with with SSL
-Requires Cloud Station 2.2 (DSM 4.3) or Cloud Station 3.x (DSM 5.x)
-Requires Android 2.3 and onwards

What’s new in v 2.2.2

(2014/10/16)

. Fixed an issue on certain Android versions where files would sync on 3G irrespectively of the settings applied
. Fixed an issue making it impossible to connect when verifying the certificate

. Minor bug fixes

What’s new in v 2.2.1

What’s new in v 2.2
. Sharing a file via a link on social networks or emails is now supported

. Support for IPv6
. Minor bug fixes

Almost perfect Only thing missing is a Web access like Dropbox or Google drive.

Some major issues As previously reported by other users, this app was great, until recently: 1. SSL validation ceased working for some users (incl. me) since version 2.2 . I'm using a StarSSL certificate, working great on other Synology apps 2. Sometimes, DS Cloud will use all my phone's CPU, until the battery dies. No clear pattern emerges to explain when this happens Feature wise, being able to select multiple folders to sync (or to exclude) would make it much more convenient

One 1 folder can be synced at a time. Needs option to sync multiple folders.
