Edo: Organize and share

Edo lets you organize and share links, media and files of any kind and size straight from your smartphone.

Why should I use edo?

By using edo to organize and share files, links and media from your smartphone and from your computer, you won’t need anymore to make long researches in order to find your shared files or give up hope if the files or the notes you need are not on your smartphone.

Your private files are organized by thematic categories, while those shared are arranged by contact, assuring a uniformed UIX on all your devices.

How does it work?

Edo lets you use two areas, called “Personal” and “Contacts”.
“Personal” allows you to create categories to organize your private files - such as links, audio recording, notes, pictures, videos, documents and much more - in order to get them on all your other devices on which you are using edo.

“Contacts” instead, lets you add your email contacts. Once you’ve added one, you can share with it any digital content without any size limit and get all conversations and files in one place.

What can I do with edo?

Quickly send links, pictures and files from your smartphone to your pc and viceversa
Share big sized files with your own email contacts
Comment shared files
Add text notes on all files, pictures and private links
Select the contact to easily display conversations and files you share
Save pictures and videos from both your Whatsapp or mobile photo gallery straight on your computer, in order to free your mobile storage
Send music and videos from your computer to your smartphone

All files you store and share using edo, are saved in a folder called “edo storage” which you can find on your Google Drive account.

requires login to google Why can't I use this app natively and locally? Requiring a google login to organize my own files is pointless. Why would I want to do that? Make it private and local, without a login. Big security and privacy issue here.

Interesting, but... Edo looks like it has potential, but I felt it was just adding another layer of stuff to manage/remember to look at, when I've already got Gmail/GCal/ etc. Also seems to use a lot of battery.

Pretty app and useful but HUGE battery drain! Checked my battery stats and this app accounts for 31% battery usage of my note 3 battery. That's more than the actual OS uses!! :(
