Now! Easy Map For Bikers v5
THE premier app for Motorcycle Riders!
A "must have" app for Long Distance riders.
v5.23 now supports NOAA Wea ALERTS.
DOES NOT WORK IN Canada (no NexRad)
MAPS, NAVIGATION or WEATHER displayed at your fingerTAPS or "wake up" EMFB with one tap then say "My Computer Commands" and EMFB responds to your voice requests.
voice control for the weather functions.
Just speak to ask for the NexRad, Satellite, or local forecast.
DND (Do not disturb) automatic text message response replies to text messages to let your friends know you're out riding.
BIG buttons and LARGE text, easy to see and use.
Designed by bikers for bikers.
If you ride your motorcycle long distance, this is the app you want.
(Truckers great for Truck drivers too)
All important buttons are now "dual function":
Quick tap for local forecast. Long tap for forecast elsewhere.
Quick tap for COMPosite short range radar view. Long tap for long range BASE radar view.
Quick tap for weather menu. Long tap for 48 hour weather forecast.
The home screen always displays your current location.
* ePostCard: send your friends an old style map with your location and "andyRoid on his bike" in the middle of it.
MAPS: One tap and just say where you want to go.
i.e. just say: "Motorcycle museum in Ohio" or "Walmart in Daytona".
You'll get a map from your location to the destination. Then just tap again to Navigate there with GN.
EMFB saves and sorts your last 50 requests
Large TEXT so you can read it outside or anywhere.
Set your temporary HOME location while you are on vacation or out of town, then restore your actual home when it's time to go home.
Saves up to 25 favorite locations.
Use it to find your bike again at large events. Park the bike, set TEMP HOME to where you parked and then use the walking mode to find your bike again later.
NAVIGATION: Point to Point with GN.
No more old style "pac-man" maps. You'll think you're flying in a helicopter over the road with a big blue line painted for your route.
Quickly create voice routes by speaking the way point names, then just tap for the next one as you ride.
WEATHER: EMFB has THE fastest NexRad access on the internet. Data is directly from the NOAA servers. EMFB uses your smart phone location to show the 4 best NexRad weather sites around you.
It's always working in the background while you ride so when you want the maps, they are already there. Just tap (or now, just ask) to display the rain and storms for a 500 mile radius. Dynamic Zoom.
Automatically updates your location as you ride.
To display the NexRad, just say "My Computer Radar".
Two animated Satellite Views with cloud color temp overlays for the big picture and trend.
Hourly and 7-Day forecast for your current location.
If you need the same Hourly or 7-Day forecast for your destination, one tap on the "zoom-able" map will display it.
The "EMFB Additional Comprehensive Weather" shows everything you need to future plan.

The SHOW MAP feature no longer works with Google MAPS.
SHOW MAP offered you a preview route to/from current location to destination.
That no longer works; now only shows your current location
A simple work-around
Go directly to NAVIGATE TO
..tap the "X" block (lower left hand corner) to close the current NAVIGATION request..
..it will leave a to/from map on the screen that looks like the "old" SHOW MAP
sorry, not much I can do about Google "improving" (SIC) their MAP app
