Exoplanet Guide

Exoplanet Guide

Exoplanet Guide is probably the most complete exoplanet data reference for Android phones.

It is based on the database published by the Planetary Habitability Laboratory @ UPR Arecibo.

Planets for which sufficient data is not currently available (such as missing mass or semi-major axis) are filtered out, but may show up with future database updates. The database can be updated online.

One of the key features is the graphical representation of the habitable zone of a parent star. Exoplanet Guide comes with a fully featured star chart plotting stars down to magnitude 6.4 plus all Messier objects!

Export all exoplanets with illustrations to KMZ format for use with Google Sky (part of Google Earth for the desktop) and explore with the convenience of a larger screen.

The Kepler Field of View overlay changes automatically with Kepler's seasonal rotation (subtle changes, though).

Best Amazing app. From the time I purchased the application to now, almost two years later, the designers have chipped away at slowly improving the app. So pleased. Thanks guys.. Worth the investment. Besides, there is no other exoplanet database app on the market.

Great app, but after the 24/4/14 update, if I press 'Database Update', I get a message saying a 1MB database will be downloaded, followed by 'error has occurred in sub:java.io.FileNotFound Exception /data/data/requio.com_exoplanets/files/exoplanetguide/phlhec.db:open failed:ENOENT(No such file or directory) Yet the database appears to be up-to-date for 24/04/14. Don't know if this is significant? Still 5-star up to now.

Thank you! As a hard core ios user, only iphone and iphone for me, this app finally turned my eyes to the world of android ;) That world is indeed a exoplanet for me, to explore it I bought an Xperia Z, The best android spaceship money can buy (as of 2013, June 20th) And my maps? There is only one exoplanet map app -that fantastic Exoplanet by Hanno Rein I couldnt find any decent android exoplanet, I must have tried them all, But then this one showed up --- I have used it only for some few seconds, this app is very good, higly recomended!
