Exposure Calculator

Exposure Calculator

Allows photographers to calculate equivalent exposures.

Enter current settings, then calculate shutter speed, aperture (f-stop), or ISO. Also, calculate proper exposure using a Neutral Density (ND) filter by adjusting the exposure value (EV)!

v1.5 - customized start-up values
v1.4 - fix for smaller screens

FYI: Unfortunately the development files were lost some time ago due to a hard drive failure so no further updates are possible for this application.

Needs more settings I would like to see ISO of 320, 640, and 1280. Also would like f-stop of 1.8 (Sigma 18-35 Art lens) Thanks

Exposure Calculator A little more complicated than some apps. More versatile using ISO F/stop, & shutter speeds. A good range of ND filters to work with.

Some calculations are off, when the app works This app suffers the same problem as some other ND apps: it bases the calculations off of the preset camera shutter speeds versus the actual math, which results in inaccurate calculations of 6.25% once you start getting past a certain base exposure (the actual point at which it goes inaccurate is dependent on the base exposure setting). For example, do the math on a 1 second base exposure using an ND64 (6 stop) filter and compare it. 6.25% off is huge in long exposure photography.

Easy to use. Does what asked After some 5-minutes experiments, I found it pretty easy to use. The App does exactly what has been asking for, and that's the good of it.
