This is the digital application version of a promotional book that provides a comprehensive introduction to Korea.
KOCIS, an affiliate organization of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has produced an e-book version of Facts of Korea, a comprehensive guide to understanding Korea and Korean culture.
This book provides a general overview of Korea today, including politics, economics, society, and culture.
At 260 pages, the book is divided into the following sections: "Korean Life, "Society", "Culture and the Arts," "Economy," "Korea in the World," "Inter-Korean Relations," "History," "Constitution and Government," "Sports," "Tourism," and "Korea and Nature."
To find out more about each topic, you can watch a video with accompanying soundtrack or click through a multi-image viewer in the introduction section for each chapter. With title signals as well as a menu offering narration, zoom, thumbnail, slide, and search functions, you can conveniently explore the many sides of Korea.
The application also has an archive where you can access Facts about Korea in 8 languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, and Portuguese).
