What a joke. Worthy of zero stars if it was possible. I was looking for an OpenVPN client that supported my phone, did not require gaining root, and is free. It seems like these three things are hard to find when it comes to Android OpenVPN clients. Free mattered, because I see no use for a VPN client on my phone other than a one-time test to make sure my home VPN client it set up correctly, and maybe some brief geeky fun. "This app is compatible with your LG Optimus V." So far so good. It installed just fine. Ran the program, and I was immediately greeted with an EULA that I was forced to skim through and agree to in order to use the program. The next screen that immediately popped up notified me that due to some bug in my specific phone, the program would NOT work. AT ALL. I hit OK; the program closed. Uninstalled. If this was the paid version I would have felt that it was false advertising. Not a good experience at all, and it looks like there are no other suitable alternatives to try for Android.I honestly can't recommend anyone try this app; if you must, make sure you try the free version to make sure you don't have one of these unspecified devices that it doesn't doesn't run on at all.
